In the opening ceremony and the press conference, Mr. Mei Xiangrong and Ms. Yang Lin both pointed out that the UK has always been an important overseas destination for Chinese enterprises. With the Chairman Xi’s trip to Britain in October, British and Chinese relationship has stepped into a golden age, which provides a great opportunity for Chinese enterprises to develop business in the UK. Chinese companies have great interests in many British areas, including real estate, high-tech, new energy, etc. According to the official data, in the past five years, Chinese investment in Britain has been grown by an average of 85% per year, and last year the total investment amount reached $5.1 billion. At present, this trend is still going up, and there will be more Chinese investments in the UK in the future.

That how to get familiar with the local investment environment, policies and regulations, and explore business opportunities, is the challenge for the Chinese enterprises, meanwhile,  it asks higher requirements for Chinese law firms in terms of international services. To meet these requirements and Yingke’s international development strategies, Yingke decided to establish China center in London, to provide legal and business services among the two countries. Furthermore, in view of the UK as an important country in Europe, the founding of China center in London also symbolizes a significance progress here.
